This course is designed to help students understand and support children who are second language learners. During the course you will learn to use appropriate assessment techniques for children’s first and second language. Students will receive up to date information such as working with parents, understanding the process of second language acquisition and using the curriculum and classroom organization to facilitate English language and literacy learning.
