The ERSEA Supervisor Credential is a 24 week process.  It consist of 2 core courses, 2 online exams, portfolio completion, and Team Assessments.

The ERSEA Supervisor Credential  is designed to be a "plus" feature of certifying  abilities and represents exceptional skill level in the national Head Start community. A supervisor credential is an "academic certification" of qualification of skilled professionals in Head Start. Participants at this level learn practical tips, techniques and solutions needed for supervisory success.  This level focuses on the unique challenges you face everyday as a manager or supervisor and offers solutions to help managers and supervisors build solid foundation for approaching challenges of hwo to work through staff conflict and difficult behaviors as well as confidentiality.

The Supervisor Credential is designed to give participants practical tips, techniques and solutions needed for supervisory success.. This level focuses on the unique challenges you face everyday as a manager or supervisor and offers solutions to help managers and supervisors build solid foundation for approaching challenges of how to work through staff conflict and difficult behaviors as well as confidentiality. The supervisor credential is designed for professionals who are responsible for ensuring professional development of other program staff. Candidates enrolled in this program have four or more years experience reporting, managing and monitoring a content area. The supervisor credential program is designed to identify leaders and managers who demonstrate and maintain technical expertise and who apply their skills to today's Head Start program's mission statements, leadership quality and management excellence. Candidates enrolled in this program will have a competitive edge in their career and will be a vital resource in today's Head Start program. In addition to the national recognition, candidates are provided with a valuable set of resources to aid them in becoming some of the best management staff in the Head Start community. 30 CECs (Continuing Education Credits) or 48 clock hours of training.
